Inabanga is a municipality on the northern coast of Bohol in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines. The Inabanga River, one of the main rivers of the island, reaches the sea here. Its lower course and delta shape the landscape around the town centre.
The coast is low and irregular, with mangrove areas, fishponds and several small islands offshore. Inland the land rises gently into farmland and wooded hills. Settlements follow the roads and the river, and small barangays are scattered across the countryside rather than gathered into one large town.
