Te mapa
Jhajha is in Jamui district, in southern Bihar, where the Gangetic plain starts to break up into low, wooded hills. It is known mainly as a railway town on the main line between Howrah and Delhi. On a map, the tracks are the strongest element, a firm line that the town has grown along.
The streets form an irregular network on both sides of the railway, and the station area and the market roads are where it is densest. Away from the centre, the built area thins quickly into fields, scrub and forested high ground. That makes the town's outline compact, and it contrasts clearly with the open country around it.
Railway colonies and station yards are part of Jhajha's identity, as they are in many towns that grew around a junction. A Jhajha map poster keeps that structure, one long line of steel with a close-knit town around it, and places it in the hilly landscape of the Bihar–Jharkhand borderlands.
The Howrah–Delhi railway passes through the middle of town. It is the defining line of the map, and the station yards appear as a broad, straight band.
Near the station, lanes and bazaar roads crowd together, forming the densest part of the town and the natural focus of the poster.
Low hills and wooded ground around Jhajha limit its spread. The town's footprint stays compact, set in a much emptier landscape.
