Te mapa
Jose Panganiban is a municipality in Camarines Norte, in the Bicol Region of Luzon. It was formerly called Mambulao and was renamed after the Bicolano scholar and writer José María Panganiban. The area has long been known for gold mining, and together with neighbouring Paracale it forms one of the country's historic gold districts.
On a map, the town lies on the coast of a bay, and the shoreline is its dominant line. Streets gather on the flat land next to the water, and the coastline curves around inlets and headlands. Behind the town, the terrain rises into hills where roads become more winding. Islands in the bay add small, clean shapes to the water side of the frame.
A Jose Panganiban map poster suits people from Camarines Norte, Filipino families abroad with roots in Bicol, and anyone who knows this coast. It shows a place where the bay and the hills sit close together, with the town between them.
A curved coastline wraps around the bay in front of the town and forms the most prominent line on the map.
Streets gather on the level ground by the water in a compact network, the densest area within the frame.
Behind the town the land rises into hills linked to the area's gold mining history, with winding roads running through them.

Koteā ko Jose Pañganiban
For Bicolanos away from home, a map of Jose Panganiban is a quiet link to the bay and the hills. It also works as an attractive coastal map on its own, with water and land in balance.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name or a homecoming year. Blueprint and Noir bring out the bay. Classic black & white, Paper and Sand are also available.
