Te mapa
Jundiaí lies about sixty kilometres northwest of São Paulo, on the corridor that links the capital with Campinas. Its map is shaped by two big elements: the Anhanguera and Bandeirantes highways running past the city, and the green bulk of the Serra do Japi, a forested range that rises to the west and remains one of the largest protected areas in the region.
The historic centre sits on a rise above the Jundiaí River, with older streets fitting the slopes and newer neighbourhoods spreading across the surrounding hills. The city is known for grapes and wine, celebrated each year at its Festa da Uva, a tradition brought by Italian immigrants who settled in the area.
A Jundiaí map poster shows the tension between the city and its landscape: a dense, compact centre, suburban districts following the valleys, long highway curves and the open mass of the Serra do Japi, which appears as a quiet, empty space at the city's edge.
The forested range west of the city appears as a large open area on the map, bordering the urban grid with a clear natural edge.
The Anhanguera and Bandeirantes highways sweep past in long smooth curves, framing the city and linking it with São Paulo and Campinas.
The historic core sits on higher ground above the Jundiaí River, with streets adapting to the slopes as they descend toward the valley.

Koteā ko Jundiaí
Jundiaí combines the energy of São Paulo's orbit with the calm of its hills and vineyards, and a map captures both. It makes a thoughtful gift for someone who has settled there or grew up among its hills.
