Te mapa
Jurong East is a planning area in the west of Singapore, developed from the 1970s as part of Jurong new town and now designated a regional centre. On the map it is strongly structured: the Ayer Rajah and Pan Island expressways define broad corridors, and the housing estates between them are arranged in clusters of blocks around neighbourhood centres.
At its heart is the Jurong East MRT interchange, where the North–South and East–West lines meet, surrounded by shopping malls and office towers. To the west, Jurong Lake introduces a wide, organic shape into an otherwise rectilinear layout, with the Chinese and Japanese gardens set on islands in the water and linked by bridges.
The area is also home to the Science Centre Singapore, one of the country's long-established public institutions. A Jurong East map poster presents this carefully planned district as a composition of expressways, estates and water, capturing a side of Singapore that many residents know far better than the downtown skyline.
The lake's irregular outline contrasts with the planned streets nearby, and its garden islands, joined by bridges, appear as small, detailed shapes in the water.
Jurong East station sits where two main lines meet, and the elevated tracks draw long, clean lines through the centre of the map.
Major expressways frame the district, their broad interchanges and ramps forming the largest and most graphic elements on the poster.

Koteā ko Jurong East
For families who lived in the Jurong East estates or took their children to the Science Centre, this district is a large part of everyday Singapore. The map gives a familiar neighbourhood the kind of attention usually reserved for city centres and famous skylines.
Add a block number, estate name or move-in year to the title and subtitle, and choose any of the five styles. Order a printed poster on matte paper through a print partner, or download the HD files for $9.
