Te mapa
Kamba is a town in Kebbi State, in the north-western corner of Nigeria, and the headquarters of Dandi Local Government Area. It lies very close to the borders with both Benin and Niger, in open savanna country where the landscape begins to give way to the drier Sahel. The map shows a compact settlement set within a wide, lightly marked landscape.
Towns in this part of Kebbi are traditionally built with close-set compounds and narrow passages, and the older core appears as a fine, dense texture. Around it, farmland used for grains such as millet and sorghum spreads across the plain, crossed by tracks and seasonal watercourses. The Niger River flows through the wider region, bringing a major river system within reach of this dry corner.
A Kamba map poster is mostly about space: a single town in a broad landscape, with roads leading off toward the borders and neighbouring farming communities. In monochrome that openness becomes a strength, giving the composition a calm, almost minimalist quality that suits a simple frame on a plain white wall.
The older part of town forms a dense cluster of compounds and lanes, the most detailed element of the map and the clear centre of the composition.
Roads leave Kamba toward the nearby frontiers with Benin and Niger and toward other Kebbi towns, drawing long lines across open ground.
Cultivated fields and grazing land spread around the settlement in irregular patches, crossed by footpaths and tracks that show up as faint, delicate lines.
