Te mapa
Kertosono is a town in Nganjuk Regency, East Java, on the lowland plain near the Brantas River, one of the longest rivers on Java. From above, the town appears as a compact cluster of streets surrounded by rice fields, with roads and rail lines running through it and linking it to other towns across the region.
The town has long been a stop on important transport routes. Railway lines pass through Kertosono, connecting it with Surabaya, Madiun and Kediri, and the station forms a focal point on the map. The surrounding land is highly fertile, and the pattern of paddy fields, villages and irrigation channels reflects centuries of intensive agriculture.
A Kertosono map poster captures a town shaped by travel and farming. The rail lines draw long strokes across the plain, the river adds a softer curve, and the fields provide a fine, even texture. It is a balanced, understated image for anyone with a personal connection to this part of East Java.

The Brantas runs near the town, its broad course winding across the lowlands and forming a strong natural line on the map.
Rice fields surround the town, creating a fine pattern of small plots and channels that frames the denser streets of the centre.
