Te mapa
Kiomboi is the administrative centre of Iramba district in the Singida region of central Tanzania. It sits on the high, open plateau of the country's interior, a landscape of farmland, grazing land and scattered rocky outcrops. From above, the town is a small cluster of streets, with houses and plots spreading out loosely along the roads.
As a district centre, Kiomboi gathers government offices, schools, markets and a hospital that serves the surrounding area. Its roads lead outward to villages across Iramba, running across the open land in long, gently curving lines. Between them, field boundaries and footpaths add a faint network of finer detail.
A Kiomboi map poster shows a town defined as much by its surroundings as by its streets. The built area is modest, and the roads extend well beyond it into the plateau. It is a spare, open composition, and a meaningful one for anyone who has lived, worked or grown up here and wants to remember it precisely.
The core of town holds administrative buildings, schools and a market, forming the densest cluster of streets on the map.
Roads lead out toward villages across Iramba, drawing long lines across the plateau that give the map a clear sense of direction and reach.
Farmland and bush surround the town on every side, leaving wide areas of calm space around the settlement on the finished poster.

Koteā ko Kiomboi
Kiomboi is known to many people who have lived there for a time, including teachers, health workers and volunteers, as well as those born there. A map poster is a precise, understated memento of that connection.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a name, year or phrase in Swahili or English. Choose from five styles. Sand works especially well for the warm colours of the plateau, while Blueprint gives a crisp, technical feel.
