Te mapa
Kisesa is a town in the Simiyu Region of northern Tanzania, on the broad plains southeast of Lake Victoria. From above, the town is a loose cluster of streets around a central area, and its edges fade gradually into fields and scattered homesteads. The land is largely flat, with only gentle rises and seasonal watercourses breaking it up.
This is farming and herding country, where cotton and food crops are grown and livestock plays a central role in daily life. On a map, the lines outside the town are few: tracks linking villages, field boundaries and a handful of roads toward larger centres. The wide empty space makes the town itself stand out clearly.
A Kisesa map poster offers a simple, honest portrait of a small Tanzanian town in its landscape. It is not a busy image, but a clear shape set within a wide, open plain. It suits people from Simiyu and those who have lived or worked in the region.
The main streets meet in a central area that forms the town's core. From there the built-up area spreads out in a loose, irregular pattern.
Around the town, flat farmland and grazing land stretch in every direction. They give the poster broad, calm margins and a strong sense of scale.
A few roads and tracks link Kisesa to nearby villages and larger towns. On the map they read as thin lines crossing the open plain.

A map of Kisesa is most meaningful to people who know it personally, as a birthplace, a family home or a place of work. The poster keeps it close, wherever they now live.
You can write your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, including a phrase in Swahili or a family name. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It is available as a $9 HD download or as a printed poster.
