Te mapa
Korochi is a town in the Hatkanangale area of Kolhapur district, in southern Maharashtra. It sits very close to Ichalkaranji, one of India's best-known centres for powerloom weaving, and much of local life is connected to the textile trade. From above, the town is a close grid of streets and small workshops, merging with the urban edge of its larger neighbour.
The land around it is flat and fertile, with irrigated fields, many of them growing sugarcane. The Panchganga river flows through the wider district, and canals and farm roads cut across the countryside in straight lines. The pattern is one of dense small towns set within intensively farmed land.
A Korochi map poster shows a place defined by work and closeness. The tight town grid prints as a solid, detailed shape, joined to Ichalkaranji by roads and growing suburbs, and the surrounding fields add a regular, open texture. It is a straightforward, honest map, which suits a minimalist print.
Close-set streets, homes and small workshops form a dense town pattern shaped by the weaving and powerloom trade.
Roads and new housing connect Korochi to neighbouring Ichalkaranji, and on a wider frame the two places almost merge into one urban area.
Flat fields, canals and farm tracks surround the town, creating a regular pattern of rectangles across the plain.

Koteā ko Korochi
Korochi is home to families who have worked in weaving for generations, and many have relatives spread across Maharashtra and beyond. A map of the town is a simple, lasting way to keep that connection.
