Te mapa
Kurono lies in Gifu Prefecture, on the northern edge of the Nōbi Plain, one of Japan's largest areas of low, level land. To the north, the mountains of the Mino region rise. To the south, the plain continues toward the rivers that drain it into Ise Bay.
Communities here grew among rice fields and waterways, and the map shows that closely woven arrangement. Residential streets cluster in small, dense pockets. Wider roads and irrigation channels link them, and the rectangles of cultivated land fill the gaps. There is no single dramatic feature, but the overall texture is rich and even.
A Kurono map poster turns this lowland pattern into a careful piece of line work. Printed in black and white, the streets, channels and field edges combine into a quiet, balanced surface, the everyday geography of central Japan seen from above.
Houses and narrow lanes gather in compact groups, forming small dense areas that stand out against the open field patterns around them.
Channels run between the fields in straight and gently curving lines, adding a second layer of detail beneath the road network.
Toward the north, the level ground begins to give way to higher land, and the map shifts from regular patterns to more organic forms.
