Te mapa
Kushinagar lies in the east of Uttar Pradesh, on the flat plain of the Ganges basin. It is one of the most important places in Buddhism: tradition holds that the Buddha passed into parinirvana here, and the town is one of the four principal Buddhist pilgrimage sites. Temples built by communities from across Asia stand in the area around the historic sites.
From above, the map is shaped less by dense streets than by open space. The Mahaparinirvana Temple and the Ramabhar Stupa sit within landscaped grounds, and the monasteries around them occupy walled compounds with gardens. Roads connect these sites in a loose network, and farmland surrounds the town on every side, broken by ponds and small villages.
A Kushinagar map poster suits a place where the meaning lies in the layout of sacred sites rather than in scale. The composition shows temple precincts, quiet roads and the flat country beyond, giving a contemplative image that fits the character of the town and the reasons people travel to it.
The area around the Mahaparinirvana Temple appears as open, landscaped ground, a calm space that stands apart from the surrounding roads and marks the heart of the pilgrimage site.
Temples and monasteries built by different Buddhist communities occupy separate walled grounds, forming a cluster of distinct rectangular plots across the town.
Fields, ponds and villages spread in every direction across the level Gangetic plain, giving the map a spacious feel with no hills or coastline to interrupt it.

Koteā ko Kushinagar
Pilgrims, practitioners and travellers who have visited Kushinagar often want a lasting reminder of the place. A map poster offers a restrained, respectful way to mark a journey that carries personal and spiritual significance.
You can add a title, a subtitle recording the date of a visit and the coordinates of the site. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand; the Paper style gives the plain a soft, meditative tone.
