The main road
One principal route runs through the settlement and anchors the whole layout. Most side streets and plots hang off it, so it forms the clearest line on the poster.

Te mapa
Manyama sits on the plateau of Zambia's North-Western Province. From above it looks less like a planned city than a settlement still finding its outline. A main road carries most of the traffic, and shorter lanes branch off it into residential plots. Between the built-up patches, open ground and tree cover take over. The effect on paper is light, airy and uneven.
The town is the administrative seat of Manyama District, which was carved out of the wider Solwezi area in the last decade. That recent status shows in the map. Newer government and service plots sit beside older household compounds, and the network of tracks is still thickening. A Manyama map poster captures that early stage, when a place is visibly growing into its role.
Beyond the town edge, the landscape is typical of the region: gently rolling miombo woodland cut by small streams that feed the upper Zambezi and Congo basins. On a black-and-white map these watercourses appear as fine, wandering lines. The roads run mostly straight and deliberate, and the contrast between the two gives the composition its character.
One principal route runs through the settlement and anchors the whole layout. Most side streets and plots hang off it, so it forms the clearest line on the poster.
Short lanes and footpaths spread out from the centre in an irregular pattern. They trace how households and services have settled the land over time, not a surveyor's plan.
Thin watercourses wind through the surrounding plateau and break up the open ground. They give the edges of the map a softer, organic texture next to the straighter roads.

Koteā ko Manyama
Manyama is not a place many people know from maps, which makes it personal for those who do. Families from the district, people who have worked there and anyone who has passed through the North-Western Province can keep a precise, quiet record of it on the wall.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example a family name, a year or a date that matters. Then choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Order it as $9 HD digital files or as a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
