Te mapa
Muthutala is a small town in central Kerala, set in the green lowlands between the Western Ghats and the coast. Like many settlements in the state, it does not gather around a single dense core. On a map, houses and roads spread along ridges and lanes, with open agricultural land and water in between.
That dispersed pattern is typical of Kerala, where villages and towns often run into one another along roads rather than forming separate blocks. The streets curve with the terrain rather than following a grid, and the gaps between them often mark paddy fields, groves or low wet ground.
A Muthutala map poster captures that organic, branching layout, with minor lanes winding off the main roads and the finer threads of streams and channels running through the landscape. It is a modest place, and the print is honest to that. It shows an everyday Kerala town, drawn in clean lines.
The road network spreads out in a tree-like pattern, with smaller lanes splitting from the main routes and following the natural rise and fall of the land.
Unbuilt areas between the lanes break up the map, reflecting the agricultural land and low wet ground that are typical of the Kerala lowlands.
Rather than a tight centre, buildings spread along the roads, giving the map an even, textured look that differs from the dense cores of northern Indian towns.

Koteā ko Muthutala
A map of a small hometown often means the most to the people who left it. For families from Muthutala now living in the Gulf, in other Indian cities or further away, it is a quiet reminder of the roads they grew up walking.
Write the family name or a meaningful date in the title and subtitle, and keep the coordinates line as it is or change it. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
