Te mapa
Niakaramandougou, often shortened to Niakara, lies in the Hambol region of central Ivory Coast, in the savanna country north of Bouaké. It is a departmental seat serving the surrounding villages, and like many towns in the region it grew around its roads, market and administrative buildings rather than from a single formal plan.
On the map, the town appears as a moderately regular pattern of streets that becomes looser toward the edges, where compounds and gardens thin into open land. The roads leading in and out give the composition its main lines. The surrounding savanna is left almost blank, so the settlement reads as a single, well-defined shape on the sheet.
A Niakaramandougou map poster is a way for people from the town, or those who have lived and worked there, to keep a detailed image of it at home. The name itself is long and distinctive, and set in the poster's title it becomes a quietly striking piece of typography above the map.
The busiest streets cluster around the market and administrative core, forming the densest part of the map and its natural focal point.
Main roads cross the settlement and continue into the countryside, drawing long lines that tie Niakara to the other towns of the Hambol region.
At the margins, the street network loosens and fades into open savanna, leaving generous white space that frames the town clearly on the page.
