Te mapa
Ogawa is in the northeast of Tochigi Prefecture, in the countryside of the Naka River basin. In 2005 it merged with the neighbouring town of Batō to form Nakagawa. On the map, it has a small central area of streets along the main roads, with farmland and hills beyond.
The valley floor is divided into rice paddies, which show up as a fine pattern of small plots crossed by irrigation channels and farm roads. Wooded hills rise at the edges, and scattered hamlets sit where the land starts to climb. The Naka River runs through the wider area as its main watercourse.
The region has a long history, with ancient burial mounds and archaeological sites in the Nasu area. An Ogawa map poster shows rural Japan in its everyday form: a modest town, a river valley and paddies meeting forested slopes.
Small plots of paddy fill the valley floor. Their fine divisions give the poster a delicate, detailed texture.
The river and its tributaries shape the land. Watercourses wind through the low ground and set the direction of the valley.
Forested slopes rise around the farmland. Settlements and roads follow the transition between paddy and hill.

Koteā ko Ogawa
A map of Ogawa suits anyone with family roots in northern Tochigi, or anyone who has spent time in the Japanese countryside. The paddy patterns and gentle hills make a calm, detailed image.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, including in Japanese, and you can keep the historic name Ogawa. Paper and Sand bring out the rural softness, and Classic black and white keeps it crisp.
