Te mapa
Phan Thong is a town and district in Chon Buri province on Thailand's Eastern Seaboard, a short distance inland from the provincial capital and the Gulf of Thailand. The land is almost entirely flat, so water and roads shape the map rather than hills. Canals, small waterways and field boundaries run between villages, and highways cut straight lines across them.
In recent decades the area has become part of Thailand's main industrial corridor. Large estates and factories now sit beside rice fields, orchards and older settlements. On a map the contrast is striking. Big rectangular plots and planned access roads lie next to winding village lanes and irregular farm parcels, all in the same frame.
A Phan Thong map poster suits people who live and work here, including the many who came from other provinces or from abroad for jobs on the Eastern Seaboard. It shows a place in transition, where the older rural pattern is still visible beneath the newer industrial one.
Narrow canals and streams cross the flat land. They draw fine lines between villages and fields and give the map a quiet, detailed texture.
Large planned estates in the area appear as broad blocks with regular internal roads. They add strong geometric shapes to an otherwise rural landscape.
Older lanes follow waterways and field edges in gentle curves. They recall the district's farming past and contrast with the straight highways.
