Te mapa
Phumĭ Véal Tônsay is a locality in Kampong Speu Province, west of Phnom Penh. The name marks a community on the broad, low plain of central Cambodia rather than a dense town centre. On a map, settlements string out along the roads, and between them the land is divided into the small, irregular fields typical of rice-growing country.
Kampong Speu Province stretches from these lowlands toward the Cardamom Mountains in the west. The province is known for its palm sugar, made from the sap of the sugar palms that stand along field edges throughout the countryside. The landscape around the locality reflects that agricultural life: roads, dykes, ponds and farmland rather than large urban blocks.
A Phumĭ Véal Tônsay map poster is a portrait of rural Cambodia in line form. Roads become the main structure, village clusters form points of density, and the surrounding field pattern adds fine texture. For families with roots in Kampong Speu, it is a quiet way to keep a specific place on the wall.
Houses and small clusters line up along the local roads, so the map's density follows the routes instead of forming a compact centre.
Small, irregular plots cover the surrounding plain. Rendered in line work, they give the poster a delicate texture across the open ground.
Ponds, channels and raised field edges, common across Cambodia's rice-growing lowlands, can appear as small shapes scattered between roads and fields.

A map of this locality is most meaningful to the people connected to it: families who farmed here, relatives now living abroad, or visitors who spent time in the villages of Kampong Speu. It records a place that general maps rarely show at this scale.
The title can use the romanised name, Khmer script if you prefer, or a family name, with a subtitle and coordinates line of your choice. Choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
