Te mapa
Pithāpuram lies on the coastal plain of Andhra Pradesh, a short distance from Kakinada and the Bay of Bengal. The land is almost perfectly flat, part of the wider Godavari delta. From above, the town is a dense web of lanes and roads, surrounded by paddy fields cut into neat rectangles by irrigation canals and field boundaries.
The town is an important pilgrimage centre. The Kukkuteswara Swamy temple complex, with the Puruhutika shrine, is counted among the Shakti Peethas. Pithāpuram is also revered as the birthplace of Sripada Sri Vallabha, venerated in the Dattatreya tradition. On a map, the older lanes converge toward the temple district, which forms a clear focal point.
A Pithāpuram map poster shows a town that has grown steadily outward from its religious centre into rich farmland. Railway lines and main roads cross the plain toward Kakinada and Rajahmundry, and their straight lines contrast with the organic shape of the old streets.
The historic lanes gather around the temple complex, which serves as the town's natural centre. Its large enclosure stands out clearly from the finer grain of surrounding streets.
Irrigation channels run across the plain in long, straight lines. They divide the countryside into regular fields and frame the town with a quiet geometric pattern.
The main roads and the railway cross the flat land toward neighbouring towns. They cut decisive lines across the map and tie Pithāpuram into the coastal corridor.

Koteā ko Pithāpuram
For pilgrims, for families from the East Godavari region, or for anyone who has spent time in this temple town, the map turns a meaningful place into a calm, graphic object. The balance of dense lanes and open fields suits both homes and offices.
