Te mapa
Rio Pomba is named after the river that runs through the area, and the map makes the link clear. The town lies in the hilly Zona da Mata of southeastern Minas Gerais, where streets follow valleys and ridges instead of a strict grid. Built-up blocks gather close to the water and thin out as the ground climbs towards pasture and fields.
It is one of the older settlements of the Zona da Mata, founded during the colonial expansion of Minas Gerais in the eighteenth century. The historic core is still compact, grouped around the main church and square. Today Rio Pomba is a local centre for agriculture and education in a region of small towns joined by winding country roads.
A Rio Pomba map poster works well as a portrait of a small river town. The meandering waterline, the few streets that cross it and the roads leaving for neighbouring municipalities add up to a simple, balanced composition that is clearly rural Minas.
The river curves through the landscape and gives the town its name. On the poster it is the main natural line that the streets orient themselves around.
The oldest streets gather around the main church and square in a small, dense cluster. They stand out clearly against the looser growth around them.
Country roads leave town along ridges and valleys, bending with the terrain. They draw thin, wandering lines out towards the edges of the print.

Koteā ko Rio Pomba
For families with roots in the Zona da Mata, a map of Rio Pomba holds a whole geography of childhood: the river, the square, the road out of town. It also makes a thoughtful gift for someone who moved away to Juiz de Fora, Belo Horizonte or further.
Each poster can carry a personal title, a subtitle with a name or a date, and its own coordinates line. There are five styles, including the warm Paper and Sand. The $9 download includes 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF files in six sizes, without a watermark.
