Rogers Map Poster & Print
Rogers is one of the four main cities of Northwest Arkansas, along with Bentonville, Springdale and Fayetteville. It started as a railroad town in the 1880s, and the historic downtown still sits along the old rail line, with brick storefronts on a compact grid.
Sam Walton opened the first Walmart store in Rogers in 1962, and the city's growth since then has followed the retail and business boom of the region. On the map, that growth appears as wide arterial roads, curving suburban streets and large commercial sites near the interstate, including the Pinnacle Hills area in the west.
To the east the city reaches toward Beaver Lake, whose branching arms and inlets make the most striking shape in the region. A Rogers map poster can show the original grid, the newer loops and cul-de-sacs, and the edge of the Ozark landscape around them.

Interstate corridor
I-49 runs along the western side of the city, and commercial development lines it. It forms a long straight line through an otherwise curving plan.
Toward Beaver Lake
East of the city, Beaver Lake spreads out in branching arms and inlets. Its shape frames the edge of the urban area.
