Te mapa
San Ildefonso lies in the northern part of Bulacan province, on the broad, low plain of Central Luzon. From above, the town proper is a compact area of streets gathered along the main highway. Barangay settlements are spread across a landscape that is mostly given over to rice paddies and other crops.
The Pan-Philippine Highway, also called the Maharlika Highway, runs through the municipality. It links San Ildefonso southward to Manila and northward to Nueva Ecija and beyond. Like its neighbours, the town has long depended on farming. The paddies here are part of the belt of rice fields that stretches across the central plain toward the rice-growing heartland of Luzon.
A San Ildefonso map poster shows that agricultural setting clearly. The streets form a small core along the highway, barangay roads branch into the fields, and there is plenty of open space in between. The composition is simple and calm. It makes a meaningful gift for families from the town who now live in Metro Manila or overseas.
The Pan-Philippine Highway crosses the municipality. It forms the main axis of the map, and the town's streets and businesses gather along it.
Wide paddies surround the town proper. They leave large open areas on the poster that emphasise the agricultural character of northern Bulacan.
Smaller roads lead out from the centre to scattered barangays. They form a loose network of lines and small clusters across the fields.
