Te mapa
Sancoale is a village in the Mormugao taluka of South Goa, located near the southern bank of the Zuari River, not far from where it widens towards the sea. From above, it is a loose network of winding roads and lanes connecting houses, gardens and small plots, with the river and its low-lying banks forming a natural boundary to the north.
The village is known for the surviving façade of an old church, a heritage site that recalls one of the early Portuguese-era parishes in the region. Today, Sancoale lies within the busy corridor between the Zuari crossing, the industrial area and the port town of Vasco da Gama, but its internal lanes retain a village scale.
A Sancoale map poster shows a place where the road network follows the land rather than a plan. Curving lanes branch off from main roads, and the river edge adds a broad, calm surface along one side of the composition. The mix of dense clusters and open ground gives the map an organic, hand-drawn quality.
The estuary of the Zuari forms the northern side of the area, a wide stretch of water and marshy banks that frames the village on the map.
Narrow roads curve between houses and gardens, following the terrain and property lines rather than a grid, and create a soft, irregular texture.
The standing façade of an old church marks the village's long history, a fixed point amid the lanes that locals and visitors both recognise.

Koteā ko Sancoale
Goans abroad often keep a strong attachment to their home village, and Sancoale is no exception. A map of its lanes and riverbank makes a thoughtful gift for a family with roots here or a reminder of home for someone living far away.
Add a custom title, subtitle and coordinates line, such as a family house name or a wedding date, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand pairs naturally with the coastal setting.
