Te mapa
Sandyford lies in south Dublin, in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, where the city's suburbs reach toward the Dublin Mountains. On a map it combines older residential streets, curving housing estates and the dense, more regular blocks of the Sandyford business district. The M50 motorway passes close by and forms a strong line across the area.
The Luas Green Line runs through Sandyford and links it directly to the city centre. The business district has grown into one of Dublin's main office areas, with many international companies. A Sandyford map poster shows how that concentrated development sits beside quieter suburban housing.
To the south, the land rises toward the mountains, and the street network thins into roads leading up into the hills. That transition from dense suburb to open upland appears clearly from above and gives the map a natural edge.
A cluster of office blocks and access roads forms a distinct, fairly regular pattern that differs clearly from the surrounding housing estates.
The tram line runs through the area in a clean, continuous line, connecting Sandyford to central Dublin and marking its stations along the way.
South of Sandyford, the suburbs give way to rising ground and the Dublin Mountains. Streets become sparse and roads start to wind.
