Te mapa
Santa Maria do Pará is a municipality in north-eastern Pará, in the Brazilian Amazon region east of Belém. Much of the land here was cleared for farming long ago, and the map shows fields, remnant forest and small rivers. The town grew along the highway, which runs through it as a firm, straight line and organises everything around it.
Streets branch off the main road in a loose grid, with the densest blocks close to the highway and fewer toward the edges. Beyond them, dirt roads reach into the rural parts of the municipality, following property lines and the ridges between streams. A Santa Maria do Pará map poster brings this road-and-grid structure into focus without clutter.
In this humid tropical climate, water is never far away on the map. Streams and small rivers cross the countryside, often lined by strips of forest that survive where the land was too wet to clear. These winding lines soften the straight roads and balance human planning against the natural drainage of the region.
The main highway passes straight through town, and most streets connect directly to it. On the poster it reads as a bold axis that holds the whole plan together.
Near the highway, short blocks form a small, regular grid. Toward the edges the pattern loosens and gives way to scattered buildings and open land.
Small rivers and creeks meander through the surrounding countryside. Their curving paths contrast sharply with the straight roads and add a quiet, organic line.
