Te mapa
Si Mahosot is a district in Prachin Buri Province, in eastern Thailand. The land here is low and flat, a mix of rice fields, fish ponds, canals and villages linked by straight roads. On a map this gives a fine, even pattern in which water appears as regular shapes rather than winding rivers.
The district is named after the ancient city of Si Mahosot. Its archaeological remains include moats, earthworks and Buddhist sites, among them Sa Morakot, a large stone-lined pond. The old city's outline, visible as long moats and embankments, is one of the most interesting shapes the map can show.
A Si Mahosot map poster connects the present-day district with this older layer. Modern roads and villages sit in the flat plain, and the traces of the ancient city appear among them as larger, more deliberate lines. Blueprint makes the water features stand out, while the Classic style keeps the balance between old and new.

A large ancient pond at the archaeological site is part of the region's early Buddhist heritage and appears as a clear water feature.
Around the town, flat fields, irrigation canals and ponds form a fine, regular texture that covers most of the map.

Koteā ko Si Mahosot
The map suits people from Prachin Buri, and those interested in Thailand's early history, because it shows an everyday district alongside the outline of a much older city. It works especially well in quiet reading corners and studies.
