Te mapa
Sibonga lies on the southeastern coast of Cebu Island, south of Carcar. From above the town is a long, thin settlement tied to the shoreline. The coastal highway runs parallel to the water, and the town centre sits close to the sea. Barangays spread inland along roads that climb into the hills.
The town is widely known for the Simala Shrine, a large castle-like church in the upland barangay of Simala that draws pilgrims from across the Philippines. On a map it sits well away from the coast, reached by a road winding up from the lowlands, which gives the town two distinct centres of gravity.
A Sibonga map poster pairs a clean coastline with an interior of scattered roads and hamlets. The sea takes up one side of the frame as a calm, empty field, while the land side fills with a looser web of lanes. It is a quiet composition that reflects the rural character of this part of Cebu.
The coast forms a long, gently curving edge along the eastern side of town. On the poster it becomes the dominant line, with open water filling the frame beyond it.
The main road down Cebu's east coast passes through Sibonga close to the sea, linking the town centre with neighbouring municipalities in a single continuous line.
A winding road leads inland from the lowlands to the Simala Shrine, the town's best-known landmark, tracing the rise from the coastal plain into the hills.

Koteā ko Sibonga
Sibonga means a great deal to families from the town, to Cebuanos living abroad and to pilgrims who have made the trip to Simala. The poster records both the seaside town and the hill road in one frame.
Give it your own title, a subtitle such as a barangay or family name, and a date such as a pilgrimage or homecoming, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
