Te mapa
Singojuruh is a district in Banyuwangi Regency, the easternmost part of Java, across the strait from Bali. It is rural rather than urban. From above you see villages strung along roads, with farmland between them split into irregular plots. Small watercourses and irrigation lines cross the fields.
Banyuwangi Regency runs from the volcanic highlands in the west down to the coast in the east. Singojuruh lies in the farming land between the two. Its map is shaped by agriculture: settlements follow the roads closely, and the space between them is divided by field edges and paths rather than by a street grid.
A Singojuruh map poster is for people who know this part of East Java from close up, from family, a village or a return trip. In monochrome, the pattern of roads, houses and field edges becomes a fine, organic drawing. It looks very different from a city plan, and every line comes from how the land is farmed.
Houses line the district's roads in long, narrow strips. From above, settlements show up as threads along the routes rather than as solid blocks.
Between the villages the land is split into many small fields. On the poster their boundaries make a soft, irregular pattern that fills most of the sheet.
Singojuruh is in Banyuwangi, the regency at Java's eastern end. That places it between the island's volcanic interior and the Bali Strait coast.
