Te mapa
Soko sits in the flat interior of East Java, where towns tend to grow along a main road and then thin out into farmland. From above, the settled area is a band of short, dense streets with house plots packed closely together. Beyond it lies a quieter pattern of field boundaries, drainage channels and footpaths, and few of those lines run perfectly straight.
Rendered in black and white, that contrast becomes the whole composition. The built core appears as a darker cluster of fine lines. The surrounding paddies leave open space, broken only by thin water lines and the occasional hamlet. This is the map of a working agricultural landscape rather than a planned city, and its irregular edges are part of what makes it recognisable.
A Soko map poster suits someone who knows the place at street level: the way to a school, a family compound, the market road. Because the town is small, the frame can take in both the centre and the countryside around it. The poster then shows how Soko connects to its neighbouring villages and to the wider lowlands of the province.
The densest streets gather along the principal road through town. Shops and houses line both sides, and short lanes branch off into tightly packed residential blocks.
Around the centre, irrigated farmland divides the map into small, irregular parcels outlined by channels and embankments. They print as delicate, slightly wandering lines.
Smaller clusters of lanes appear out in the fields. Each is a compact knot of streets tied back to town by narrow roads, which gives the edges of the map a dotted rhythm.

Koteā ko Soko
People rarely hang Soko for sightseeing reasons. It is a hometown, a place of family roots or a stay that mattered. A quiet line drawing of its lanes and fields keeps that connection visible on a wall far from East Java.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example to add a family name or a date. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital files cost $9, and a free 900 px preview lets you check the layout first.
