Te mapa
Sokodé lies in the centre of Togo, on the main road that runs north from the coast to the Sahel. On a map, the city is widely spread, with a central market district and roads radiating out to surrounding neighbourhoods and villages. The ground is gently rolling, and rivers and seasonal streams cross the outskirts in thin, winding lines.
Sokodé is one of the country's largest cities and the main centre of the Tem people, also called Kotokoli. It is known for the Adossa festival, also called the festival of knives, an important cultural event. The city has long been a trading point on the north–south route through Togo.
A Sokodé map poster shows an inland African city with a clear centre and a loose, open outer area. The main highway gives it a strong north–south axis, and the streets branching off make a relaxed, organic pattern. In monochrome, the balance between dense core and sparse edges is simple and pleasing.
The national road from the coast to the north runs through the city, giving the map a strong vertical line through its centre.
The densest streets gather around the central market area, forming the heart of the composition from which other roads spread out.
Neighbourhoods on the edges are widely spaced and crossed by streams, giving the poster generous room and soft natural lines.

Koteā ko Sokodé
For people from Sokodé, for the Tem community abroad and for anyone who has travelled through central Togo, this map is a personal token of the city. It carries a sense of home without needing a famous landmark.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, including a family name or a festival date. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Classic black & white keeps the open layout crisp.
