Te mapa
Solsumba is a census town in Valsad district, in the far south of Gujarat, close to Umbergaon and the border with Maharashtra. It lies on the low coastal plain near the Arabian Sea. Its map combines the tight lanes of older village settlements with newer roads and housing linked to the growth of the Umbergaon area.
The street network is irregular, with lanes following old plot boundaries, and small clusters of houses are separated by fields, orchards and open land. Creeks and tidal channels cut into the nearby coastline. At a wider scale the shoreline itself becomes a strong edge that gives the composition a clear direction.
A Solsumba map poster is a quiet, detailed image of a place most maps pass over. It suits people with family ties to the villages of the Umbergaon coast. It also shows how local settlements, the coastal railway and the shoreline relate to one another, something that is hard to see on the ground.
The land here is low and flat near the sea, and the map shows roads and lanes spreading evenly across it rather than climbing or bending around hills.
Houses group in small, irregular clusters connected by narrow lanes, producing a dense but organic texture that thins out toward the surrounding fields.
At wider scales, the Arabian Sea coast and the creeks running inland form the most distinctive natural lines, framing the settlement on its western side.
