Te mapa
Sultānganj sits on the southern bank of the Ganges in Bihar's Bhagalpur district. From above, the river is the defining shape: a wide band of water with sandbars and shifting channels, and the town pressed against its edge. Streets run back from the bank in an irregular pattern, and a railway line cuts across the town parallel to the river.
The town is known for the Ajgaibinath temple, which stands on a rocky outcrop in the Ganges itself. Every year during the month of Shravan, large numbers of pilgrims collect Ganges water here and carry it on foot to the Baidyanath temple at Deoghar, a journey that makes Sultānganj its starting point.
A Sultānganj map poster places the river at the centre of the composition, with the town's dense lanes and the rail line framing it. The contrast between open water and closely built streets gives the print its character, a reminder that this is a place defined by the Ganges.
The Ajgaibinath temple rises from a rock in the Ganges just off the town's bank, a small island that marks one of the region's best-known shrines.
The river's southern edge forms a long, clean line on the map, with sandbars and braided channels appearing as pale shapes within the water.
A railway runs through the town roughly parallel to the Ganges, giving the street pattern a firm straight line against the curving shoreline.

Pilgrims who began the walk to Deoghar here, and families with roots along this stretch of the Ganges, will recognise the bend of the river immediately. It makes a quiet, meaningful print for a home or a gift.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with the year of a journey, keep or edit the coordinates line, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
