Talikkulam Map Poster & Print
Talikkulam lies on the coast of Thrissur district in central Kerala, on the long narrow strip of land between the Arabian Sea and the backwater channels further inland. On a map the settlement is long rather than round. Houses and lanes are spread through coconut groves, with the beach forming a clean edge to the west.
The main coastal road runs parallel to the shore, and smaller lanes branch from it toward the sea on one side and the water on the other. There is little sense of a dense centre. Instead the area shows the dispersed pattern typical of the Kerala coast, where homesteads fill the land almost continuously.
