Te mapa
Tateyama lies at the southern end of the Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture, where the land meets the Pacific near the mouth of Tokyo Bay. The town curves around Tateyama Bay, a sheltered inlet whose smooth water earned it the poetic name Kagami-ga-ura, the mirror bay. On clear days Mount Fuji appears across the water to the west.
The map follows that shoreline. Streets and the railway trace the curve of the bay, with the densest part of town near the station and the port, and farmland and low hills rising behind. Toward the south the coast becomes rockier and more exposed to the open ocean, and the mild climate supports the flower growing the area is known for.
On a hill above the bay stands a reconstructed castle linked to the Satomi clan, whose story inspired the classic novel Nansō Satomi Hakkenden. A Tateyama map poster suits people with summer memories by the sea, weekend visitors from Tokyo, and anyone who likes a town defined by one elegant, sweeping coastline.
The sheltered bay forms a smooth, open curve along the western side of the map, the most distinctive and memorable shape in the composition.
Streets and railway follow the coast, so the town reads as a band of dense lines hugging the water with quieter, more open land behind it.
The wooded hill with its reconstructed castle rises above the town, an island of calm within the street pattern that looks out over the bay.

Koteā ko Tateyama
Tateyama is a place people return to: childhood holidays, a first swim in the bay, a sunset with Fuji on the horizon. A map of the town keeps that curve of coast in view all year, even in a small city apartment.
Write a title and subtitle, add the year of a trip to the coordinates line, and choose among Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files cost $9 with no watermark, and printed posters can be shipped within Japan and elsewhere.
