Rampart circuit
The earthen walls wrap the old town in a single loop broken by gates. This gives the map a strong central shape that reads clearly even at the smallest print sizes.

Te mapa
Seen from above, Tiznit is one of the clearest walled towns in southern Morocco. The old medina sits inside an unbroken circuit of earthen ramparts several kilometres long, built in the 1880s under Sultan Hassan I. Inside the walls, lanes twist between courtyard houses and small squares. Outside, the modern town spreads in straighter blocks along the roads that head north towards Agadir and inland.
The town is known across Morocco for its silver, and the jewellery souk is the reason many visitors stop here. A spring called the Source Bleue lies within the old town and is linked to local stories about how Tiznit was founded. The Atlantic is only a short drive to the west, where the plain meets the ocean at Aglou.
A Tiznit map poster makes the most of the contrast between enclosed and open form. The ramparts appear as a firm outline and the medina as a fine mesh of lines. The newer districts form a looser grid around them. At the edges, the dry land of the Souss-Massa region is left almost blank, which gives the walled core even more presence.
The earthen walls wrap the old town in a single loop broken by gates. This gives the map a strong central shape that reads clearly even at the smallest print sizes.
Inside the walls, narrow and irregular lanes form a dense web. They look nothing like the orderly blocks that grew up later beyond the gates.
Roads leave the town north towards Agadir and west towards the Atlantic at Aglou. They cross mostly open country, so they appear as long single lines.

Koteā ko Tiznit
Tiznit often matters to people who have travelled through southern Morocco and to families with roots in the Souss. The walled outline makes an unusually graphic poster. It is calm enough for a living room and specific enough to start a conversation.
You can personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with the year of a journey, and keep or edit the coordinates. The Sand style suits the earthen walls especially well, though Classic, Noir, Paper and Blueprint are also available. Buy them as $9 digital files or as printed posters.
