Te mapa
Alegranza lies at the northern tip of the Canary Islands, the outermost member of the Chinijo Archipelago north of Lanzarote. On a map it is a compact island shaped entirely by volcanic activity, with cliffs along much of the coast and lower ground in places where old lava flows reach the sea.
The most striking feature is the Caldera de Alegranza, a large, near-circular crater at the western end of the island whose rim remains visible as a clean ring even at small scales. Elsewhere the land is crossed by a few tracks rather than roads, and a lighthouse stands on the coast at Punta Delgada.
The island lies within protected marine and natural reserves and has almost no permanent population, which makes it an important breeding site for seabirds. An Alegranza map poster shows a place barely touched by settlement, a volcanic outline set in the Atlantic with Montaña Clara and La Graciosa to the south.
A broad, round crater on the western side forms the most recognisable shape on the island, its rim drawn as a clean circle close to the sea.
The Punta Delgada lighthouse marks the eastern end of the island, one of the few built structures on an otherwise empty volcanic landscape.
A wider frame takes in Montaña Clara, La Graciosa and the northern cliffs of Lanzarote, forming a small chain of volcanic islands in open water.

Koteā ko Alegranza
This is a map for people who have sailed the waters north of Lanzarote, for birdwatchers, and for those who love the stark volcanic landscapes of the Canaries. Its crater and cliffs give a strong graphic presence even at the smallest size.
Add a personal title, subtitle and coordinates line, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand and Paper suit the dry volcanic tones, while Blueprint turns the crater into a clean technical form. HD files cost $9.
