Te mapa
La Graciosa lies just off the northern tip of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, across a narrow strait known as El Río. In 2018 it was officially recognised as the eighth inhabited island of the Canaries. It is small, low and dry, with a handful of volcanic cones rising from sandy plains, and it is part of the Chinijo Archipelago marine reserve.
Almost everyone lives in Caleta de Sebo, the port village facing Lanzarote, where the streets are sand rather than asphalt. A second, smaller settlement, Pedro Barba, sits a little further north on the same coast. Beyond them, sandy tracks cross the island to beaches on the far shores, and a Graciosa map poster shows those few thin lines against wide open ground.
The view from Lanzarote's Famara cliffs, looking down across El Río to La Graciosa, is one of the best known in the Canaries. On the map the relationship is just as clear, with the steep edge of the larger island on one side and the low, pale island on the other. Named cones such as Montaña Amarilla rise near the southern shore.
The island's main village faces Lanzarote across El Río, a small grid of sand streets around the harbour where the ferry arrives.
A narrow channel separates the island from Lanzarote's northern cliffs. This band of water anchors one edge of the composition.
Unpaved tracks run from the village across the island to beaches and coves on the north and west. They are the only lines on otherwise open ground.

Koteā ko Graciosa
La Graciosa is a place people return to for its slowness: sand streets, a small port village and long, empty beaches. The map suits anyone who has taken the ferry from Órzola, and its outline sits well next to a print of Lanzarote.
Set the title as Graciosa or La Graciosa, add a subtitle and adjust the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, the last a natural fit here. HD files are $9, and matte prints ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
