Te mapa
Tog Wajaale lies in the north-west of the Horn of Africa, directly on the border with Ethiopia, west of Hargeisa. On the map, the town is a compact cluster of streets built around a main road, with market areas and trading yards concentrated along the route. The border itself runs close to the centre.
The town is known as a trading and crossing point. Goods and travellers pass through between the Ethiopian highlands and the coast, and the main road is the strongest line on the map. Around it lies the Wajaale plain, a relatively fertile area used for farming, which appears as open, lightly marked land.
A Tog Wajaale map poster presents a border town simply and honestly: a road, a market, homes and fields. The minimal density makes the few strong lines of the composition stand out, and it can be framed as a reminder of home by families who have settled elsewhere.
The town sits directly on the border with Ethiopia, and the frontier runs close to the centre, dividing one continuous settlement pattern.
The main road linking the Ethiopian highlands with Hargeisa and the coast passes through town and forms the backbone of the map.
The surrounding plain is used for farming, and its open, lightly marked fields leave generous space around the compact town.
