Te mapa
Twifu Praso is a district capital in the Central Region of Ghana, inland from the coast in the forested country between Cape Coast and the Ashanti uplands. It is a modest town, and the map shows that honestly: a central cluster of streets surrounded by farms, woodland and smaller settlements linked by winding roads.
The area is primarily agricultural, with cocoa and other tree crops shaping much of the local economy. On a map, farmland does not draw neat lines like streets, so the surrounding landscape appears as open space broken by footpaths, feeder roads and streams following the rolling terrain towards larger rivers.
A Twifu Praso map poster is about the shape of a place rather than its monuments. The black-and-white layout shows how the town grew along its main roads, where the market and core streets gather, and how the countryside extends in every direction. It is a simple, honest portrait of a working rural centre.
The town's streets are organised along its principal roads, which carry most of the traffic and give the map its structure.
Around the core, open space and scattered settlements reflect the cocoa and farm country of the Central Region's forest belt.
Small watercourses wind through the rolling land, drawing thin, irregular lines between farms and villages.
