Te mapa
Uga is in the Aguata area of Anambra State in southeastern Nigeria. Like many towns in this part of Igboland, it does not have a single compact centre. Instead, it is made up of several village areas connected by roads, with homes and compounds spread among farmland and patches of trees.
On the map, this appears as a loose network rather than a grid. Main roads connect Uga to nearby towns, and smaller lanes branch off them toward residential clusters. The land rises and falls gently, and the roads follow it in soft curves.
Many people from Uga live in other parts of Nigeria or abroad, and the town remains an important point of return for families and celebrations. A Uga map poster shows the town's distinctive layout, a set of connected communities, drawn in thin lines on a light background.
Uga is made up of several village areas linked by roads, which gives the map a spread-out pattern instead of a single dense centre.
Smaller roads branch off the main routes toward homes and compounds, forming a fine network that covers much of the area.
The gentle slopes of the surrounding country cause roads to curve softly, giving the composition a relaxed, organic feel.
