Te mapa
Véroia, also written Veria, sits on the eastern foothills of Mount Vermio in Central Macedonia, overlooking the broad Imathia plain. The town occupies a natural terrace above the Tripotamos river, and the Aliakmonas flows not far to the south. From above, the older quarters form a dense tangle of lanes on the high ground, while newer districts spread more regularly toward the plain.
Known in antiquity as Beroea, the town is mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles as a place where Paul preached, and it later became notable for its many small Byzantine and post-Byzantine churches. The old Jewish quarter of Barbouta sits along the Tripotamos. The royal tombs at Vergina, one of the major archaeological sites of Greece, lie a short distance to the southeast.
A Véroia map poster traces the edge where the town meets the escarpment: tight lanes in the old centre, the curving river valley and the straighter streets reaching out toward the plain. In black and white, the density of the historic quarters stands out clearly. It is a good fit for anyone connected to Imathia or drawn to the older layers of northern Greece.
Narrow, winding streets in the historic centre, where many small churches are tucked between houses, form the most intricate part of the poster.
The river curves along the edge of the old town, past the Barbouta quarter, drawing a soft line between the built-up terrace and the slope below.
Newer streets extend toward the flat Imathia plain in a more regular pattern, showing how the town has grown down from its hillside.

Koteā ko Véroia
Véroia has a clear sense of place: the town on its terrace, the mountain behind, the plain spread out below. A map records that setting with precision and restraint, and it suits a family home, a study or a gift for someone who studied or grew up here.
You can use either spelling, Véroia or Veria, in the title, add a subtitle and set the coordinates line or a date. Five styles are available, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, and printed posters on matte paper ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
