Volzhsk Map Poster & Print

Volzhsk lies in the Mari El Republic, on the left bank of the Volga, just across the river from Zelenodolsk in Tatarstan. From above, the broad river forms the town's southern edge, and the streets spread north from it in a mix of regular Soviet-era blocks, older low-rise quarters and industrial sites.

The town grew from a riverside settlement into an industrial centre during the twentieth century, with a large paper mill among its main enterprises. Around it the landscape opens into forest, small lakes and the wide floodplain of the Volga, part of the region's green, low-lying terrain.

A Volzhsk map poster sets the town's streets against the river's wide surface. The residential blocks read as clear geometric shapes, and the water and forest around them give the composition space and a quiet, northern feel.

Volga riverfront

The wide Volga runs along the southern side of the town, a large open area of water that anchors the poster and separates it from Zelenodolsk.

02

Residential blocks

Soviet-era housing forms large, regular blocks with courtyards, giving the centre a clear geometric structure distinct from the older streets.

03

Lakes and forest

Small lakes and woodland surround the town, adding soft, irregular shapes to the edges of the map.
