Wanmu Map Poster & Print
Wanmu lies in the mountainous southeast of Chongqing Municipality, a region of steep ridges, deep valleys and winding rivers near the borders of Guizhou and Hunan. On the map, the town is a narrow strip of streets on the valley floor, with little room to spread sideways.
The terrain sets every line. Roads follow the valley and switch back up the slopes, and the built-up area thins quickly as the ground rises. Watercourses thread through the low land, and scattered hamlets lie along the mountain tracks away from the centre.
