Te mapa
Wichit is a subdistrict on the southeastern side of Phuket island in Thailand, just south of Phuket Town. On a map it is defined by the meeting of hills and sea: forested high ground occupies parts of the district, while roads curve along the lower slopes and down toward a coastline of bays, headlands and mangrove inlets.
Unlike the island's west coast with its long open beaches, this side of Phuket faces calmer waters, and the shoreline is more broken and sheltered. Residential streets, housing estates and local roads fill the flatter land between the hills, forming an irregular network that follows the terrain.
Wichit is one of the most populous parts of Phuket and serves as a residential area for people living and working on the island. A Wichit map poster traces the balance of hills, coast and neighbourhood streets that gives the district its particular shape from above.
The coast here breaks into bays, small headlands and mangrove inlets, creating a detailed, irregular edge that contrasts with the straighter beaches on Phuket's western side.
Forested hills rise within and around the district, leaving areas of the map largely empty of streets and pushing roads into curves along their lower slopes.
Housing estates and local streets fill the flatter ground, forming a mix of short cul-de-sacs and winding connectors that reflect the district's role as a place where islanders live.

Koteā ko Wichit
Wichit suits people who have made a home on Phuket away from the resort beaches, or who remember the quieter southeastern coast. The map records the hills and bays that frame daily life there.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, perhaps with a street, a move date or the name of a bay. Five styles are available, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, with Sand working well for a coastal home.
