Te mapa
Xalisco is a town in the Mexican state of Nayarit, just south of the state capital, Tepic. The two places are close enough that the built-up area almost runs continuously between them. Xalisco has its own centre, with a square at its heart, and streets laid out in a fairly regular grid. The town then gives way to fields and rising ground to the south.
The municipality has a mostly agricultural character. The land around the town is used for crops, and rural roads lead out to smaller communities in the hills. Its location, close to the capital but still surrounded by farmland, is typical of many towns on the edges of Mexican cities.
A Xalisco map poster shows that mix of urban and rural. At one edge the grid of the town connects with the growing area of Tepic, and at the other it opens into farmland and uneven land. The central square is the reference point, and the roads lead away from it in each direction.
A central square and the blocks around it form the traditional core of Xalisco. From there, streets extend in a mostly regular grid.
To the north, the town is closely connected to the capital's built-up area. On the poster, the two street networks can be seen reaching toward each other.
South and west, the grid breaks up into farm roads and fields. Rising ground gives the outer part of the map a looser, more irregular pattern.

Koteā ko Xalisco
Xalisco is home to many families who work in Tepic but keep their roots in the town. A poster preserves the square, the grid and the edge of the farmland in a calm image that suits a home or an office.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line, keeping the accent marks in names if you like. Choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the files for $9 or order a matte printed poster.
