Te mapa
Xiannü is the main town of Jiangdu District, in Yangzhou, on the flat, well-watered plain north of the Yangtze in Jiangsu. On a map the town is threaded with canals and rivers, and blocks of streets sit between broad waterways. The Grand Canal and its branches run close by.
Jiangdu is known across China for its water-control works. The Jiangdu pumping stations, at the junction of the canal system and the Yangtze, lift water into the Grand Canal. They are the starting point of the eastern route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, which carries water towards Shandong and the north.
A Xiannü map poster shows how thoroughly water shapes this landscape. Straight channels cut across the fields, bridges carry roads over them at regular intervals, and the town's blocks are arranged between them. The print has an engineered quality, which suits Blueprint particularly well.
Channels and branches of the Grand Canal run through and around the town. On the map they form a strong framework that the streets are fitted into.
The water-control complex nearby is the starting point of the eastern route of the South-to-North Water Diversion. Its channels and sluices form a precise, engineered shape.
The town's streets sit in blocks bounded by rivers and canals. The result is a patchwork of built-up islands linked by bridges.

Xiannü suits anyone connected to Jiangdu or Yangzhou, and anyone drawn to engineering and waterways. The canals give the poster strong structure, and it looks good at larger sizes such as A2 or 24×36″.
You can write the title in Chinese or English, add a subtitle and set the coordinates. Choose one of the five styles. The $9 download includes 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs with no watermark.
