Yunlong is one of the urban districts of Xuzhou, a major city in the north of Jiangsu Province, China. On the map it combines dense city blocks and wide modern avenues with green space. Low hills and a lake break up the street grid, and those shapes give the district a softer outline than a fully built-up area.
The district takes its name from Yunlong Hill, one of the low hills around Xuzhou. Yunlong Lake, a large scenic lake, lies nearby. Xuzhou itself has a very long history. It was known in ancient times as Pengcheng and is associated with the rise of the Han dynasty, whose founder came from this region.
