Te mapa
Zelenogorsk lies in the east of Krasnoyarsk Krai, on the Kan River. It was founded in the 1950s as a closed town, long known only by the code name Krasnoyarsk-45, built around a uranium enrichment plant that remains its main employer. Its current name, meaning green hill, was adopted after the end of the Soviet period.
Because it was designed from scratch, the town reads on a map as a single, coherent plan: broad straight avenues, large residential blocks of apartment buildings separated by courtyards and green spaces, and clear zones for housing, industry and energy. The industrial areas sit apart from the residential districts, linked by roads through the forest.
The Kan River curves along the edge of town, and the surrounding taiga presses close on every side, giving the built-up area a sharp outline. A Zelenogorsk map poster shows this precise, deliberate geometry and its natural setting, a town that still carries the logic of its planners in every street.
Wide avenues and large, regular residential blocks make up the core of the town, a clear example of mid-century Soviet planning that reads cleanly from above.
The Kan River runs past the town in a broad curve, its wide channel and wooded banks drawing a soft, natural line beside the precise street plan.
Dense taiga surrounds the town on every side, so the built-up area appears on the poster as a compact, sharply defined shape set in open space.

Koteā ko Zelenogorsk
For anyone who grew up in Zelenogorsk or worked at its plant, a map is a way to hold on to a town that few outsiders know. Add a personal title, the year you arrived or left, and the coordinates.
The strict geometry looks particularly good in Blueprint or Noir, while Classic black & white, Paper and Sand offer lighter options. For $9 you get six print sizes as 300 DPI PNG and PDF files, or choose a printed matte poster with an optional frame.
