Efteling park
The theme park's paths, ponds and attractions form a looping, organic pattern that stands apart from the straighter village streets around it. Many Dutch visitors will recognise the shape at once.

The map
Loon op Zand is a municipality in North Brabant made up of several villages, including Loon op Zand itself and Kaatsheuvel. On a map the villages appear as separate clusters of streets with woodland, heath and fields between them, not as one continuous town. Roads run between them in the long straight lines typical of the Brabant countryside.
The municipality is home to the Efteling, one of the oldest and most visited theme parks in Europe. Its winding paths and ponds form an unusual shape among the village grids. To the east lies the Loonse en Drunense Duinen, a national park with open drift sand and one of the larger inland sand areas in Western Europe.
A Loon op Zand map poster gathers these pieces into one composition: village streets, the looping layout of the park, and the pale expanse of dunes and forest. It is a quieter map than a city centre, and the open ground between villages gives the linework room to breathe. Frame it wide to include the dunes, or tighter to focus on a single village.

The Loonse en Drunense Duinen national park lies to the east. Its wide area of sand and pine woodland appears on the poster as open, lightly marked ground.
Loon op Zand and Kaatsheuvel read as separate clusters of streets, linked by straight country roads across fields and woods, a pattern typical of Brabant.

Why Loon op Zand
This is a map for people who grew up in these villages, for families with years of Efteling visits behind them, and for walkers who know the sand dunes well. Each will find their own place in the same frame.
Set the title to the municipality or a single village, add a subtitle or date, and choose from five styles. Sand is a natural fit for the dunes, while Classic black & white, Noir, Paper and Blueprint give a crisper, more graphic finish.
