The map
Victoria lies in the Yoro department of northern-central Honduras, an area of hills, valleys and agricultural land. The town is modest in size, and from above it forms a compact grid of streets gathered around a central area, with rural roads leading out into the surrounding countryside.
As in many Honduran towns, the layout follows a simple rectangular pattern near the centre, becoming looser toward the edges where it meets fields and slopes. A Victoria map poster shows this progression, with the tighter blocks of the town giving way to scattered houses and winding roads across the hills.
The landscape of Yoro is marked by watercourses and forested uplands, and roads connect Victoria with other towns in the department. In black and white, the map captures a quiet rural centre within a varied terrain, a place defined less by landmarks than by its relationship to the land around it.

Roads wind out from the centre across hills and valleys, linking Victoria to farms, villages and other towns in the Yoro department.
The surrounding terrain rises and falls in gentle folds, and the town's edges follow this landscape, giving the map a softer outer boundary.

Why Victoria
For Hondurans living abroad, a map of a small hometown like Victoria can mean more than any image of a capital city. It keeps the streets of family life close, wherever someone now lives.
The title and subtitle can carry a family name, a date or a phrase in Spanish or English. Paper suits the rural character, while Noir gives the compact grid a strong, graphic presence.
